Hope is a highly talented, caring, and intelligent young woman. In the time that I have known her, I have witnessed the transformation of a timid girl into a confident young lady. She is not afraid of a challenge and is ready for what lies ahead. Her compassion and understanding can be witnessed in many areas of her life. Academically, Hope has proven herself as a dedicated student and a scholar, consistently making honors throughout her high school career. A challenging academic schedule throughout high school, she has consistently raised her standards and expectations for herself. She focuses on improving herself in all areas of her life, but is less than self-centered and never one to boast or brag. She feels that her academic status is something to be proud of, but without strong character and involvement in the community, it would have little significance. She is creative and compassionate, with an unmistakable and mature sense of self. Always there with a smile and a helping hand, she has gained the respect and admiration of both peers and staff. True to herself, her values and morals, she should be proud of the fact that others do not easily influence her and she does not give in to peer pressure. She is a person that teachers would want as a student, any person would want as a friend and any parent would be proud to call their daughter.
