To explain the term organizational culture we need understand what “Culture” is and what an “Organization” is.
Culture simply means “the way we do things”; we can elaborate on this by stating that culture is the belief, orientation and mindset people perceive or believe a thing/task/behaviour should be.
Organization simply means “a set of resources (human/mechanical) coming together in achieving a specific goal”
Organizational culture is the behavior attributed to the shared beliefs, values and assumptions which governs how the humans within an organization behave.

MTN Nigeria Communication is part of a multinational Telecommunication Company called the MTN Group.
The organizational culture employed in MTN Nigeria and MTN Group as a whole is the “Role Culture”. Due to its hierarchical structure power is derived from the top to bottom flow. The structure is broken down into different arms which are driving by defined Process, Procedures and Policies to guide, monitor and control resources in the organization.

Wokkman computer venture is a one – man medium enterprise (SME). The organizational culture employed in Wokkman Computer ventures is the “Power culture”. The day to day function of the business was controlled and managed by the owner of the business and rules and regulation were decimated based on the mode of the owner of the business.
