Throughout my life my family has always been there for everything. From when I was little and falling off my bike to helping me with my plans for the future, there was always someone from my family making sure that I was okay or helping me make the right decision. There were times, and there still is today, when they can annoy me and all I want to do is get away. At the end of the day, no matter what happens, you are still going to be related to them. You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family. Your friends might not always be there, but you can always count on family. Every family around the world has issues. The roller coaster is when things happen and you have highs and lows in your life. If there are no problems, then you just move in a straight line and there is no excitement in your life. When there is no excitement it is like you are on a merry-go-round. Roller coasters are more fun than merry-go-rounds, so you need to have excitement if you don’t want to be bored. People threatened to leave the family, but they made everything work. Grandma made a point that you just can’t move in a straight line and have everything be okay. You need to have the ups and downs in order to make everything work. If you move in a straight line you will be bored and will want to leave and go and do something exciting. They all made it through the low parts of their lives and then they made it to the high parts of their lives. If you go down, you will always go up, so you have to think positive even when your life isn’t going the way you would like it.
