Introduction
What is interactive learning and book learning?
In recent years, there has been a huge push towards a new form of learning in all schools, from primary schools to colleges. Interactive learning or E- Learning is a more social method of relaying information in a classroom environment. Passive learning or book learning depends on students paying attention to a teacher or lecturer and being able to memorise information and recall it when needed. Book learning is the method where an educator imparts knowledge to students in a face to face setting, like a classroom. Long gone are the exclusively teacher-centred classrooms or traditional classroom (sjtvu, 2013). Traditional classrooms can be limited in the ability of education. This form of teaching requires teachers to report to a central office for the information on what they are teaching. In this way, teachers and students are learning the same environment. Learning can be hard when students have employment outside the normal school routine. For traditional students, interactive learning can help give an advantage in classroom learning. It is obvious that education, whether classroom instruction or practical drill, advice or entreaty, must ensure that students are positively involved, that they at least listen and pay attention to the words, actions, and the thoughts of their educators, instead of drifting off or doing something else, or simply leaving to try to learn what they need on their own (Prange 74).
The developmental path of research to date has then evolved to inform about personal attributes, knowledge, skills, characteristics, teaching methods and behaviors distinguish high caliber educators from mediocre ones.

There are various instructional approaches but one that is widely employed by many teachers is the direct instruction approach. This is the classic teaching style that many people remember during K-12 grade school. The teacher would stand in front of the class lecturing while writing on the black board. That is why direct instruction is also known as “Chalk and Talk” (Evans, 2006). Direct instruction is not out of date and is still appropriate in many situations today. The following will discuss direct instruction and a few scenarios in which this teaching approach is appropriate.
A teacher’s responsibilities are to ensure that every student gets the education that they deserve from a well-structured curriculum and materials. Within the teacher’s responsibilities a strong foundation of instruction has to be implemented, this is why instructional strategies are significant in a teacher’s career. The strategies for instruction vary from teacher to teacher; as a result there are no specific ways to employ strategies within instruction. The main purpose of this essay is to display knowledge of methods that are involved in teaching second language instruction for various ages and levels of students. This essay will also develop from the following components that methods and techniques are important to encourage tactical instructional strategies. These components are comprehensible input, feedback that is on-going, specific and immediate, grouping structures and techniques, building background and vocabulary development along with student engagement.
Today’s generation is like no other. The nation as a whole has completely evolved from past times, with technology being one of the greatest improvements. Traditionally, schooling takes place in a classroom setting, but, with the many modifications in our world’s system, we are able to assimilate more modern means of education, such as online learning. However, with many changes comes differences and requires adjustments. The online learning system has proven to be just as effective as traditional learning, with some minor differences, however, nothing of great significance. USA today, (2016) Students are able to physically see the work and are able to use tactile stimulation for their learning needs. Face to face students are able to find out the type of learner they are. In discovering their learning style students can use their knowledge to guide them in their educational experience and needs.
Students are more attentive when actively involved in the learning process. By the lesson being centered on the student, they feel their role in the activity is important. Active learning is especially important in educating young children because it not only keeps student interested in the lesson, but also helps students to retain more information. “Research shows that when people are engaged in doing something rather than just listening and watching they actually learn better.” (Peterson, 1996) Being that students are learning fundamental lessons in their early childhood, it is important that they retain the information that they learn. Education should be one of the most important things in a person’s life. Most people are trying to achieve an education. It is stressful when you are trying to decide what school you want to go to. While debating on whether to attend college or not, many people wonder which education is better online or traditional education. As the cost of education increases a lot of students are choosing online education because its’ flexibility. If you look at it from both point of views you are accomplishing the same thing from both, which is a degree. Some people look at the cost of the school to see if they will go to school there. When you going by means of the cost of how much it will be for the degree you are trying to achieve you have to look at the salary you will be making with the major you are pursuing. Online and traditional education has a lot of similarities and differences.
ICT's vital role cannot be ignored in increasing attainment to education as well as preparing better quality education (Gutterman et al, 2009). Education has not been untouched by the pervasive impact of information and communication technology. No doubt that ICT has influenced the quantity and quality of teaching, learning, and research. ICT, in concrete terms can improve teaching and learning via its engaging and interactive content; and it can prepare real opportunities for individualized teaching. Our readings reference many previously researched benefits of Interactive Reading which include (but certainly are not limited to) developing children's joy of learning, art of listening, vocabulary, concepts of print, patterns and structures of written language, understanding of different genres, oral language expression, and understanding of the components, structure, and function of narrative discourse, connection with others and the world. (Fisher et all, 2006, p. 8-16).
students prefer technology because they believe that it makes learning more interesting and fun. They especially like laptops and tablets. Subjects that students deem challenging or boring can become more interesting with virtual lessons, through a video, or when using a tablet. Technology occupies an important place within students’ lives. When they are not in school, just about everything that they do is connected in some way to technology. By integrating technology into the classroom, teachers are changing the way they used to teach (lectures six hours a day) and providing students with the tools that will take them into the 21st century. One of the characteristics of the modern classroom is collaboration and technology helps to empower it. With classroom technology students can collaborate with other students and their teachers in and outside of the classroom quickly and easily.
Today, it is so clear to see many significant changes in the education around the world because of computer. Almost all schools and universities have become involved with computer’s system to provide an appropriate environment for students to study or prepare for classes. For example, Oklahoma State University provides a crucial program called Desire to Learn (D2L) which is an online website made for teachers to post assignments, grades, and other notes related to the courses. And this program is so helpful because it gives students a nice chance to study from home, participate on announced events, or even avoid students from getting in trouble such as receiving email when weather conditions are not good to attend classes. Moreover, in the past students and researchers used to face difficulties to get information and data related to subject. However, nowadays computer makes it easier because of the gigantic data and information that computer has. Computer has a revolutionary influence in enhancing our education.
Students nowadays, are so focus on technology and how they can put their hands in technology. As a future teacher I believe that, the best way to capture my student’s attention is by providing them with tools that can motivate them to learn. With the use of technology, I may approach teaching differently by encouraging my students to use on-line resources. Using on-line resources, would be beneficial for the students, because they would be able to explore many on-line resources. The students would be encouraged to use the on-line materials, I as a teacher would encourage them to use. Such as Internet Workshops and WeQuests. As a future teacher I would want to use Internet workshops and WebQuests, because I would want to increase my student’s motivation to
