Information can be sent faster through the use of emails. Real-time communication can be done through teleconferencing and video conferencing which can be used to conduct meetings or even interviews during the recruitment of staff. Organizational communication is greatly enhanced through the creation of employee chat groups which allows for faster transmission of information. Information that is used in the organization can be stored on a common database which can be accessed by all employees depending on the content and their clearance levels. Technology has reduced personal interactions (Deb, 2014). The use of internet eliminates the need for people to meet face to face. This deteriorates social interactions and it may lead to people feeling isolated in the society. This can make them anti-social and may even develop problems raising their families.
