The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World inspired awe and fascination during their time. The seven Wonders include the Statue of Zeus, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the Temple of Artemis. Some of the Wonders were built by the Greeks, Babylonians, Egyptians, and the Persians. All of these structures took a very long time and a lot of effort. These places were very famous, very impressive, and were very difficult to make.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is a tomb for the pharaoh, Khufu. The ancient name of the pyramid is Khufu’s Horizon. Giza is believed to be a sandy gold, but really, it was white with limestone.
