Mr.Frank the Strong Leader

It is important to have strong leaders. Great leaders are logical, inspirational, responsible, smart, understanding, passionate, courageous, and kind. The play, The Diary of Anne Frank was written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. It is based off of The Diary of Anne Frank. The story is about a young Jewish girl and her family who are forced to go into hiding in Amsterdam. Throughout the years they are in hiding, Anne Frank writes in a diary that her father later published. In the story Anne’s father, Otto Frank, is a successful businessman, he owned a business and had many people working for him. He is always able to provide and care for his wife, Edith, and his two daughters, Margot and Anne.Despite the dire circumstances of the Holocaust, Otto Frank is able to demonstrate his abilities as strong leader. …show more content…

Mr. Kraler is one of the men who works for Otto. Mr. Kraler greatly respects Mr. Frank. Mr. Kraler helps the Franks hide in the annex above Otto's old business. As Mr. Kraler is leaving the annex, he made an extremely insightful comment that reveals how he feels about Mr. Frank, “I never thought I’d live to see the day when a man like Mr. Frank would have to go into hiding”(375).
