This story is all about the Tallchief and Betty Maria,two amazing women who loved to dance.Not only Dance but did ballet.This talks about where they where she was born,how they were criticized because of race,and there amazing performances.Some even called Tallchief,The Woman of Two Worlds!The people criticized her race because teasing her did not lessen her pride in being a Osage Indian. Race Like i said people criticized both of them cause of there race too because she was a Osage Indian.The kids at school with her would kinda be racist and say where her feathers are and make fun of her last name.But of course she didn't care and kept calling her last name Tallchief because she was proud to be one.
