In the novel Fallen Angels, written by Walter Dean Myers, this is the calling name of the best friend to be of the main character. This book is giving the reader the life of a Vietnam War veteran. The author illustrates the situations that Richie Perry, the main character, goes through in an entire deployment in Vietnam. Soon before his deployment, Perry meets Harold “Peewee” Gates.
