Thus, strategies are designed for JPC students to tell these safety tips and skills and to reduce the potential of harm and to remain safe during Schoolies Week. For teaching a particular topic, videos are instructional medium that are compelling and generate a greater amount of interest and enjoyment (Kulkarni, 2013). Some studies seem to make an evidence that students are more likely to learn a topic easily when they are energised and engaged in the hands-on learning process. Videos are mostly very demonstration friendly and helps retain and maintain interest for longer periods of time even for those who are inpatient on studying. Using a video also gives students clear concept clarity, as everything can be visualised and explained in detail. Other than using the video, those defined various dangers and barriers with alcohol during Schoolies week and the skills to avoid them, could be taught by putting posters up. Posters have the ability to stick in viewers' minds and can be a great tool for small- to medium-sized businesses to use to increase brand awareness (Tolliday, 2016). Poster could be positioned from now on at somewhere where have year 12 students’ eye often attracted for instance around year 12 rockers and the bathrooms on the first floor of Gorman centre. Poster could overcome the barrier of people who are absent on the Year 12 head of year. These strategies could gain the right knowledge and understanding of the dangers and barriers with alcohol for all year 12 students in JPC. Through this, their poor behaviour, believe and attitude could be improved and then they would be able to watch out each other from the dangers and choose the right choice when they are drunk, further remain JPC Schoolies participants’ safe during Schoolies
