You are alone at night, and all you have is a flashlight that doesn't work and a sleeping bag. Then you see a church and decide to go behind it to stay away from a person’s eyes. When you get there you put everything down and put new batteries in your flashlight. When you start doing this, you hear voices around you and start wondering if you are not alone. Looking everywhere you find nothing, then you come back where you were and your stuff has been moved. Then you start wondering around and you come upon a mental cover covered with grass. You open it up and you find stairs and your curiosity get the best of you. You head down the stairs and then you feel like something is pulling you down. You get down there and it feels like you have been down there for weeks and when you come back up, you do not remember anything that just happened. Well the history of Stull, Kansas is very eerie and will lure about everyone that wants to experience the feeling. Stull, Kansas became a town in the mid-1800s. It was founded by the people of German and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. By 1857, there were only six families living there. That same year settlers constructed a stone church on land donated by Jacob Hildenbrand; later dubbed the “Evangelical Emmanuel Church”. Stull was originally called Deer Creek, later when a post office was established the citizens change the name to Stull in remembrance of Sylvester Stull. Later in 1903, the post office was discontinued. During the 20th century, the settlement suffered two major tragedies. The first occurred when a young boy wandered into a field that his father was burning and died. The second occurred when a man was found hanging from a tree after going missing. Many people don't remember these tragedies, but now they know Stull for its strange unexplained activity that goes on
