Imagine if you were in charge of a town, what changes would you make?
Council bluffs is amazing but you can always make something better, so here are the things I would do as mayor to make Council bluffs a better place. First I would build a park for kids to play and have fun and for dogs to get exercise, then I would make the Mall of the Bluffs a activity center so people can practice their sports and activities, and finally build more local businesses
Sometimes sitting at home gets boring, and sometimes your front and backyard are also boring and little kids have a ton of fun at parks. In Council Bluffs I have not come across a park. Which would help because it can be two things dog park and children park.
This would benefit Council Bluffs because it would give kids somewhere to play and the parents can sit on a bench and watch their kids. Some people like to read, and

and what better way to use that wasted space then a place anyone can go to like an activity center.
And last but certainly not least building more little local businesses.
I love little local businesses, because it’s a business that you can’t find anywhere else but in that small town or large city. If Council bluffs had more local businesses more money would be going to Council bluffs instead of if you bought a big mac at McDonald’s the money goes to the McDonald’s Headquarters that is in Chicago Illinois. Or you could be buying a hamburger at a local business and essentially you would be helping Council Bluffs just by making that simple decision.
This would help a lot with money that could then go towards Council bluffs and not just some other state. With that money we can build new businesses, more houses, put the money towards schools, and to other important
The Northeast region is the best region because it has a lot of very important, historical landmarks. Also it has amazing products & natural resources that you might love. Best of all we got the most beautiful climates that I personally love and I think you should too.
Woop woop! Is the common sound heard in Beecher Terrace (housing apartments). There are 2.3 million people locked up in the United States. Kentucky spends about fifteen billion dollars per year incarcerating individuals from Beecher Terrace. Since the 1970’s the number of people locked up in the United States has grown from 300,000 to 2.3 million. Kentucky has been the center of this prison expansion. Charles McDuffie, Christel, Demetria, and Keith Huff all have something in common. Each of these individuals are repeat offenders, grew up or lived in Beech Terrace, and have some type of mental issue.
The emerald jewel of Brooklyn, Prospect Park is often called the borough’s backyard and has been a serene and idyllic retreat for Brooklynites for well over a century now. In fact, the park recently celebrated its 150th anniversary with great fanfare, attesting its historic importance and role it’s played in city life for generations. Few people, however, know the true history of the park, such as its connection to Central Park and the role it played in the development of Brooklyn real estate in the late 19th century. To that end, here’s a quick look at the hidden history of Prospect Park and the key role it’s played in the city’s history over the years.
The Midwest region of the United States consists of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Indiana. A major source of the Midwest region of the United States is agriculture. The biggest issue the Midwest faces due to climate change is the effect of flooding on agriculture. Without agriculture the Midwest would not be what it is today. Over the years as flooding has increased planting and crop establishment has been delayed (US Global Change Research Program). Also flooding has changed the types of crops that can now be planted in the Midwest (Ben Chou). The extreme rainfalls and flooding have become more common over the past century and are expected to keep on increasing causing many harms for the Midwest including hurting agriculture (University of Michigan).
...d to provide some protection for the 8,750 acres in Chattanooga.” General consensus is that this would affect the economy negatively.
Lately I have noticed numerous abandoned buildings around the Battle Creek area; the sight makes our city look run down and cheap. I believe something must be done about this issue such as turning the buildings into new city attractions. Two vacant buildings that come to mind are the run down State Police Station and the dilapidated Family Fare store.
Ever wonder why people have fears of height? People have been pondering this question for who knows how long, maybe since man was able to climb. The author John Tierney has a genuine way of looking at it. He even has an article about it called “Can a Playground Be Too Safe?” It explains that it has been scientifically proven that children who take healthy risks early in life are not as fearful as those who don't.Lake Stevens should build a risky playground because children can overcome fears.
In Nightingale Square, for social agencies there is a Sentinel City Senior Living Center and for dentists there is a Smile Dentistry. For parks, there is a recreational park that has a tennis ball and basketball court with residents playing on both courts.
Shoud Muscatine, Iowa have a public dog park? There are two arguments to look at when getting a dog park. People who think this would benifit, and people who think they would not benifit.
There should be a community center that focuses on the distinct cultures of people that live in SeaTac. I have also noticed that there are not a lot of recreational sites and most residents go to other districts and cities for entertainment. This will allow for the residents to connect to their city and in result be an enjoyable place to live. If the people are engaged and know their city well this will lessen the effect of the other issues of urban design and increase the legibility and the people’s perception of the city is important. This city should become more community based especially on the unrepresented people and be recognized as a growing diverse city.
If there was a dog park, property values would most definitely go up. The community should try to make every resident happy where they live. Some cat owners don't feel dog owners should be able to get a dog park since they themselves are not asking for a place to bring their cats. Cats are more of indoor animals and they don't need as much attention and exercise as dogs. Cats don't need wide open spaces to play around in. People feel as though they are being treated unfairly due to the lack of yard space and areas for their pets to roam around
This will allow for ten additional spots that student or faculty guests can use for visits and drop-offs. This will help tremendously in reducing stress and parking cost for students, faculty, and their visitors. Students will have one less thing to worry about when moving in or out, which can already be considered a stressful event. Faculty will no longer have to pull into the lot to find that their reserved parking spots have been taken. Visitors will be able to focus on spending time with their friends or family, instead of frantically driving around the city trying to find parking (usually, at a very high cost). While the construction for this plan could be costly, if implemented along with the parking pass system, Simmons will be able to create a profit from the expansion, and continue to earn revenue going forward. Since executing this option will only include paving over a 50x50 foot spot of grass and sidewalk, those who live on the residence campus will be able to benefit from the newly renovated parking lot while still being able to enjoy the beautiful
The Grand Canyon is one of the wonders of the world. The Grand Canyon is probably the best one. This opinion is predicated on many things, but there are three main reasons I like this park: geology, wildlife, and recreational activities. These things magnetize around 5,000,000 people on average per year. There’s a reason why so many people come every year!
Even though people believe that local businesses are not as beneficial as a big box store, buying locally not only benefits the business but also the community, buying locally builds a strong community and the money you spend at a local business gets put back into the community. People should realize how much a local business affects the community and that they need the community members support to keep them in business so that they are able to contribute to the community and help it grow for many years to come, keeping the sense of community and seeing people interact and get to know their fellow neighbors is the biggest goal a local business owner wants to
This would make more space for parking and the students wouldn't have to park so far away from each other. A concrete parking lot would be a more convenient and easier way to park. Students would have lines to park in between, so they wouldn't have to park so far away from each other anymore. This would create more parking spaces for the west residents to park in. This wouldn’t be the best solution, because it would be very expensive to pour concrete. This would also mean that this part of the parking lot would close for a while and students would have an even harder time trying to find a parking
