I have a growing interest in law and the subjects surrounding it. As a child, I was captivated by how much law applies to every aspect of our daily life. Whether it was following rules in school or even at home, there was always an element of law involved. The changing nature of law has increased my interest as there is always something new up for debate. Growing up in a family where many members have followed a career in law, has further inspired me to follow the same path. Their achievements in this field have only motivated me to emulate them to try to make a difference in society.
Law on a practical level has always been important to me. I spent a considerable amount of time studying Talmudic law. Studying the Talmud is the elucidation of Jewish Law and additionally covers a broad range of topics including philosophy, history and ethical debates. As part of my studies, I was involved in many legal discussions and group debates, as well as rigorous independent study. I have recently completed five years studying at advanced Talmudic law colleges in Newcastle and Israel. …show more content…

it has provided me with a fundamental understanding of the English legal system, including criminal and civil law. Studying this alongside an Economics A-Level helped me gain some understanding of how a set of rules and laws can aid or restrain companies, individuals and the economy as a whole. The Business Studies A-Level has enhanced my analytical skills and critical thinking which is a key aspect in solving cases.
