Strong ethical leadership plays a vital role when it comes to supervisors and employees standing up against peer pressure that might compromise their values. The habits of robust moral leaders consist of sound personal character, passion for doing right, proactive, considerate of stakeholders, organizational role models, transparent decision makers, and competent managers of the company’s ethical culture (Ferrell, Fraedrich, & Ferrell, 2013). Good decent leaders consider all apprehensions and variables that relate to a moral decision. I think I possess a strong ethical character, and I tend to make decisions based on the moral reasoning in the workplace rather than personal values or beliefs. I try my best to offer comprehensive information that will contribute to making decisions that will benefit my organization long-term. I am driven to do the right thing regardless of the outcome. If I make a decision that I think is morally right, I am willing to face any trials that may come up as a result of the choice I made. I think integrity plays a significant part in the character of great leaders. I am willing to make ethical decisions regardless of threats and demands. So, to be successful, I have to be aware of the different cultures and implement measures to minimize ethical issues before problems occur. Proactive leaders develop plans to assist and guide employees how to make moral decisions even when pressured to do otherwise. I think about the welfare of everyone at all level before making an ethical decision within my organization. Ethical leaders have the responsibility to balance the stakeholder's interest as well to ensure the business capitalize on its role as a responsible corporate citizen (Ferrell et al. , p. 143, 2013).
