The question “Should there be stricter gun control laws?” has been asked more and more in the last few years. Due to all the mass shooting and other violent crimes that are being committed in the united states. A stricter gun control law wouldn’t stop violent crimes from happening, but it would actually cause more crime in the united states. The right to bare arms is a freedom protected by the constitution, the second amendment states ‘A well{-}regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Essentially, this means that American citizens have the right to have guns to protect ourselves and our freedom. Many people say that the second amendment is outdated
