We have some opinion on what we think about theology. We have all had experiences with theology that shape how we view God. These experiences are supposed to help shape us as human beings and allow us to see and experience God. These experiences could be good or bad, but what if they do not have an effect or have not experienced God? How would one describe an experience they have never had.
I personally have never had an experience with God and I feel that God should not be an icon or something that is worshiped, but lived by and cohabited with. I do not have any belief in God, but I am a spiritual person. I have a weird spiritual look on life in the sense of that my first spiritual experience came from this Native American girl I met. At this time I had never touched a dream catcher, only glimpses of them in Smoke shops around the city. As we parted she told me that the dream catcher would allow me to see more than what was there. My initial reaction was to ask her what that meant because it was more than just a little odd, but I decide not to as I thought it would only lead to weirder. So I did as she said, I hung the dreamcatcher above my bed and went to sleep. The dream I had that night though we a very mind opening one. It felt like an eternity while in the dreamland. In the dream, things were not normal. Everything had layers to what they were made of. The best comparison is a really tall cake. When the cake is cut one can see everything down to the very bottom. Life went on as normal, but in every encounter the amount of layers a person had showed how deep their personality went. After waking up from this dream I was very confused and it took a while for me to come to a conclusion on what it meant. At this point in time is where I became a more spiritual person.
