What would people do without music? Music is very important and is a great part of people's lives. Many people have now been using SoundCloud for music and also to become bug rappers/singers. Soundcloud is an app that streams music for free and builds many young rappers careers. Soundcloud is a better app than other apps for music because it's free to publish music, rappers are now famous for it, and is a very well known source for music.

With a great variety of music streaming and publishing features, soundcloud is equipped with the necessary items a young new rapper would need.
Starting is the easy part in a young artist, publishing is also another easy step in a rapper's career. Becoming known and played throughout other music platforms is the harder part of the career. As seen on the internet though, it may not be as hard as it seams. With many examples of this, soundcloud is a good gateway to become the rapper a rapper wants to be. Lil uzi vert, Lil Pump, Ugly God, Lil Yachty, and many more like Russ are few of the well known artists that came from the simplicity of soundcloud. “Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, and the rest of their millennial rap wave (which includes Playboi Carti) have been dismissed as "SoundCloud rappers," an attempt by the hip-hop establishment to pigeonhole them as frivolous or, worse, not "real" hip-hop.”(Hoder-Lee), controversy slowly started from soundcloud since people thought rapper's from soundcloud weren't meeting the requirements to become real artists.
