Frameworks are used in many aspects in social work. Some frameworks can include human system at every level (Krogsrud Miley, O'Melia, and DuBois, 2013). For this this discussion, I will call my place of employment SJ campus. I currently work at a college in the college prep department as a retention specialist. Some of my responsibilities includes, collaborating with faculty to discuss students that are missing class, at risk of failing, and/or failing the course. I provide the student with campus and community resources that will help them succeed. Also, I collaborate with services on campus to conduct events that will education and build students skillset.
The Focal System

The retention specialist updates and provide supervisor data. The supervisor provides college prep president with data and updates on each location.
Interactional Dimension
Both retention specialist work collaboratively to create and execute events as well as meet and address students need. Also, the retention specialist collaborates with coordinators to process ideas and innovate ways to assist students. Since the supervisor works at a different campus; most form of communication consists of emails or telephone. The supervisor also plays a supportive role and brain storm ideas with the retention specialist.
Biopsychosocial dimensions
The physical health of the employees varies, but the campus promotes healthy living. They conduct monthly health activities and tips such as full body workouts and healthy meals. Also, they provide incentives to staff that participate in healthy activities such as t-shirts and other prices. Members are encouraging and openly share their feelings. Additionally, members support each other and provide constructive feedback.
