In addition, the popularity of social media is nothing without the conspicuous features that facilitate communication, information and interaction. The statistics for the reasons that they used social media to see what their social media’s friends are doing and to chat with their friends, families and relatives are 18.6% and 23.4% respectively. Hence, this is an expected finding and compatible to our finding from my observation. People around me like friends and families always used social media as they assumed that if they don’t, they are considered as outdated.
