“Lincoln’s dedication to the ideas of freedom and equality continue to inspire people around the world.“ Martin Luther King Jr. brung it to people around the world that everyone should be equal. Abraham Lincoln justified why all should be equal. Abraham and Martin worked together for freedom and equality for all in the nation, Martin had a dream to change the world he made it happen, and Lincoln’s speech shows the importance of ending the civil rights. “His moral leadership stirred the conscience of the nation and helped bring about the nation and helped bring about the passage of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964.” This shows that all the work and effort Martin put in changing the nation payed off. He brung over hundreds of people together to fight for freedom and he delivered his I Have a Dream speech. As stated, “...Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill…” This reveals that Martin wanted everyone to be free. He wanted everyone to be equal no matter the color of their skin. To sum it up, Martin had a dream to get freedom and we got it. Last but not least, Lincoln’s speech shows the importance of ending the Civil War.
