Tattoos and piercings are normal to get something done on the teenagers bodies when they are at a younger age. Minors should be allowed to get a tattoos and piercings without parents permission because tattoos and piercings are most acceptable today, no matter the age teens will want to defy their parents so they can get a tattoo or piercing. Also it allows tennagers to express themselves. First, teenagers should be allowed to get a tattoo or piercing under the age of 18.The reason why people think they should be allowed to get a tattoo is because it’s become more self-esteem to get a tattoo or piercing at any age. In the article, it states that “ A new tattoo might improve your self-image for weeks after the fact”. My second reason that minors should be allowed to get a tattoo or piercing, is that no matter the age teens are they will want to defy their parents so they can get a tattoo or piercing. Some teenagers will go behind their parents back and get a tattoo or piercing. Also some teenagers may lie and say their over 18 and get what they want on their bodies. But some teenagers maybe want to be like their parents some day. Also in the article it says, “ No matter if you say no to your kids/ teenagers for getting a tattoo they will still go get one because they think they don't have to listen to you because to them you're not the boss of what they do.
