Global warming is the biggest issue of our time and we are not taking it seriously enough. Global warming is an extremely bad issue that we need to take more seriously, because it depletes our O-zone layer, melt the ice caps and it increases the wildlife extinction rate. It is for these reasons that we are not taking global warming seriously enough.

Firstly, global warming isn't being taken seriously enough because if the O-zone layer is still being depleted. The O-zone layer is being depleted and this is going to have serious consequences not just on animals but on ourselves as well, some of these consequences are increased cases of melanoma because of the increased UV rays that will be reaching the Earth's surface because of the holes that will be made if we do not start to take global warming seriously, a hole over Antarctica has been confirmed by NASA. We need to step up our game and start taking global warming seriously or our o-zone layer will be destroyed and we don’t want that to happen do we?

The ice caps are melting at an extremely worrying pace and if this continues the sea levels could rise to the point where it would be covering up parts of cities that are on the coast. Professor Steven Hawking said "The danger is that global warming will become self-sustaining, if it hasn’t so already. The melting of the Arctic and Antarctica ice caps is already occurring." this is very scary as it is coming from the smartest person on this planet. Furthermore, it is estimated that by 2100 our oceans will be four feet higher and the temperatures in the Arctic are rising twice as fast as any other place on Earth. We need to step it up a notch and start taking global warming seriously or we will lose our
