Dr. Adam, Dr. Emily and Simon work in animal ark. Mandy, Dr. Adam and Dr. Emily daughter occasionally helps at animal ark. Mandy loves animals just like her friend James dose.
Two weeks before Christmas Mandy and James have a fantastic idea; a party for all of the pets in Wellford (pets welcome people excepted)
While delivering invitations, Mandy and James see a cold, starved dog; James rides his bike back to animal ark and sends for one of the doctors. While waiting for them to arrive Mandy took her coat off and wrapped it around, the dog, picked the dog up, and started walking towards animal ark about twenty minutes later Mandy herd a car she looked up it was their van they got in and drove
Rowena is a humble girl with a huge crush on a traveling salesman. Lastly, Adam is a farm boy who lives on very dry land.
The Hardy boys, Frank and Joe, were driving down Shore Road and they heard a report about a stolen car. Frank and Joe raced towards the scene and saw the stolen car. Suddenly, a big red produce truck came right into the middle of the road. The boys had to slam on their brakes. They crashed into a fence and were dazed but not hurt The driver came out of the truck and said he was sorry. Frank thought something was fishy about the guy. They both went home and tried not to let their mother see all their cuts and bruises.

A couple of days go by and Claire is tired of her toddler chewing on the wallpaper and decides to go outside to get some fresh air. When she goes outside she sees her neighbor doing yard work.
...oo crowded, he leaves. He decides to bum his away across the U.S., so he wants to say goodbye to Phoebe. Phoebe is at school so he leaves a note for her with a secretary. It comes time for Phoebe to meet him but she does not. It takes her another hour to come. She comes with a big suitcase, and it confuses him. She wants to come with him. He gets mad at her, and checks the suitcase into a nearby locker security place. He lets her skip school even though she is mad at him. They go to the zoo, and after a while, she becomes no longer mad at him. He then takes her to the carousel where she rides it. He promises her he will not leave. He has been feeling sick. He goes home and gets sick, so his parents book him into the medical place. Then he says that is all he will tell you. He said to never start talking about people because you will start to miss them. Then it ends.
In the introduction to “Excellent Sheep,” the author talks about how college students “sleepwalk” as a college student today I would say that this is definitely accurate. In college, it is so easy to float by and just try and ace a class and be successful without learning as much. I believe we are programmed to think this way in high school because I remember learning one thing and just memorizing as much as I could just so that I could pass without really digesting the information it was pure regurgitation. Now, in that, it does make me look at my education and make me feel as William Dreresiewicz says “cheated”. Looking at what is expected of a student not only in school but in a school as prestigious and well known as Creighton you strive to do well now whether or not that means actually learning or just floating by as far as you can on the regurgitation level is dependent upon A. the student and B. the amount of credits a student is taking. We learn to be alone as well as we possibly can without doing much thinking because our minds are so exacerbated by the amount of work we have to do not only that but learning something and trying to digest the information alone is tiring it rarely leaves one with enough time to contemplate your own thoughts.
After they finished eating, George went back inside and called McClean and told him everything was alright. David McClean was shocked by this call and asked if he could come by to take a look at the nursery. George agreed and David was at the house in no time. David walked into the nursery
Tobias Wolff is framing his story Hunters in the Snow, in the countryside near Spokane, Washington, where three friends with three different personalities, decided to take a trip to the woods for hunting in a cold, snowy weather. The whole story follows the hunting trip of these three friends. The reader can easily observe that the cold, hostile environment is an outward expression of how the men behave towards one another. Kenny, with a heart made of ice is rather hostile to Tub, while Frank is cold and indifferent to Tub and his pleas for help.The environment is matching the characters themselves, being cold and uncaring as the author described the two from truck when they laughed at the look of Tub: “You ought to see yourself,” the driver said. “He looks just like a beach ball with a hat on, doesn’t he? Doesn’t he, Frank?”(48). Near the beginning of the story the cold and the waiting surely creates an impact in the mood of the character. Tub is restless from the wait and the cold adds on to it. He complains about being cold and Kenny and Frank, his friends tell him to stop complaining, which seems to be very unfriendly. Wolff builds up the story on the platform of cold weather and the impact of the cold on each character slowly builds up.
My brother and I push the rusty metal of the way and we climb through the hole and finally we start running. The guy starts chasing us then my brother and I climb over a fence and run into the forest. When me and my brother go into the forest we find this dog. My brother say’s it’s so cute then I say do you want to keep him and my brother say’s yes. So we start walking with the dog then we see the dust and we try to find a place to hide. Then the dog runs away and my brother and “I say comeback.”
Later on that day their mom called for some help to come get her and their brother Bobby, when they car came he had to get in a hurst. After all that happened they finally found out what Bobby had.. it was polio what bobby had they knew things would really change after that. So the next day after Ann Fay found out that Bobby had polio she didn't know how she was gonna tell the twins. When Ann Fay told the twins they really didn’t know what polio was so of course Ann Fay had to tell them. The next day Ann Fay had to wake them up get them dressed washed their face and feed them breakfast, she was already toren all up because of what happened to her little brother. Before her daddy left he had gave her some overalls to be the man of the house and help her mom with the kids while he was gone to the war. Ann Fay knew with overalls she was gonna be doing everything now that her little brother has

“It was 7 minutes after midnight. The dog was lying on the grass in the middle of the lawn in front of Mrs.Shears's house.” The way an author narrates their book is a very important factor in the reader’s understanding. The book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon is narrated in first person by a 15 year old autistic boy named Christopher Boone. Having the book narrated by an autistic boy is not a good idea because readers can understand some situations better than Christopher could, he has trouble determining how others feel and he’s always explaining things he doesn’t understand, but most readers do. Christopher is an inadequate narrator which frustrates the readers.
At lunch the children are rowdy and need to be calmed down. The father says, "Maybe we could try a little quiet today." The girl replies, "You sound like your tombstone. Remember what you wanted it to say?" Her brother joins in by saying, "Today will be a quiet day. Because it never is around us." (Hempel 1204). Shortly after completing their meal, the girl asks about her dog. "Did anyone remember to feed him?" she asks (Hempel 1205). The boy again brings death into the picture by saying that he forgot to feed the dog and then proceeds to remind her about her previous dog. She was told the dog was taken to a sheep farm where, in reality, the dog was put to sleep. Naturally, the girl began to cry.
Now we had to make the long trip back to Mrs. Tina’s house. It was such a long day, and we were extremely tired so we decided to skip dinner. We took showers, put on our pajamas, brushed are teeth, and went to bed. Over the next few days we went to the beach, had picnics in the park, went bike riding and skating, and took a trip to the mall. We had such a fun week, but now it was time to go home. So, we thanked Mrs. Tina and her family for being so generous and welcoming to us. We told them that they would have to come visit us so we could return their kindness they showed us. So, we gave them hugs and kisses and we headed back to Las Vegas.
