Shark Culling should be abolished in Western Australia

Every year hundreds of sharks get killed just because people fear them. Western Australia has brought in the Shark Culls after a series of fatal attacks. Most of these people attacked are usually surfers, swimmers or shark haters. Now imagine this, what if you were a shark swimming and suddenly someone tries to hunt your down, how would you feel? We wouldn’t like it very much if the sharks did the same thing to us. In the following paragraphs, I would give you three reasons on why Shark Culling should be abolished not only in Western Australia but also all around the world.
So why do we need sharks? Well, Sharks help keep the ocean healthy and clean for over 450 million years. They also help remove half of the worlds green house gases and produces oxygen more than all of the rainforest's combined! Sharks are just as important as all the trees in the world because they have one thing in common, provide us with oxygen. Without the sharks help we wouldn't be able to get rid as much of the greenhouse gases as we want to, which means global warming would have a lower rate of happening faster. Most importantly they provide us with food. How? They would usually eat the old, sick or slower fish in the population of the ocean to the right size so the prey species don't cause harm to ecosystem by becoming to populated. They are also at the top of the food web. If all the sharks went extinct the entire food web would collapse causing many other species of fish to disappear. So instead of killing the sharks, we could lure them away to somewhere else. As they have a huge impact to the environment.
We all know that there are much bigger threats in the world today. Should we be worried about people's fault of going into the sharks territories? O...

...doesn't have to exist. If there aren't many sharks left, just about everything would be affected. From the food web to the climate which would then link to climate change. People should focus on the BIG problems and worry less about the smaller problems that wouldn't affect everyone. If swimmers and surfers would take a chance and risk their lives in the sharks homes then it's their decision, we shouldn't have to worry about that. Each and everyone of us has a brain, which is used for thinking and creating new ideas. If everyone speak out then the world would hear our ideas to solve the problem. It doesn't matter how stupid your ideas may sound or if you're not a celebrity. Everyone has a voice! If everyone tries to stop the culling of sharks then the law will one day be abolished. We can set an example for other countries to follow! Let's show them what we can do!
