One of the most common ways to be expressive is through clothing . Schools like to limit freedom of students when it comes to dressing the way the students want, telling them what they can and cannot wear. Schools should not have dress codes and school uniforms because it goes against the constitution and oppresses woman making them responsible for boys actions . Better to understand why getting rid of dress code and school uniforms is the right choice ,one must consider the opposition. Many argue that school uniforms are a great idea Because it reduces clothing cost. However it limits the students freedom of expression through there clothing . The cost difference between a uniform wardrobe and a non uniform wardrobe is about"[..] 80$ "("school uniforms ") But this doesn't count the amount spent on clothes for real every day life, effecting students even after there out of school not knowing their style and having problems dressing themselves in every day life. All around the world especially in the us young girls have to regulate what they wear "As 'distractions' girls are held accountable for boys' behaviour"(POMERANTZ). Thought from a young age this is the girls fault and should cover up her body so she does not disrupt the class , but in reality it is not. Furthermore , Lauren Wiggins in Moncton, was sent home for wearing a floor-length halter dress and told "young women are simply "asking for it" when they show even their shoulders, back and arms "and then suspended when she questioned the decision(POMERANTZ). Woman , especially young girls , should not have to dress themselves in fear if they don't cover up there body's that the will be sexual assaulted . Everyone should be treated equally and held with respect
