RIVETED is inspired by true events. The idea of telling the story about a woman, who pulls off a multi-million dollar bank scheme, is an appealing concept for a film. The premise features a strong hook.
The roles of Sandy Stone and Lora Grant are potentially riveting roles. It’s energizing to see two captivating women drive the script. These women have the potential to offer talent a lot to work with.

It’s also clear that she’s obsessed with a psychic, Lora Grant. She uses her for business reasons, but throws out that she’s hoping for a spiritual message from her father. This is something that will need to be explored and have a payoff. One wonders if both issues can be combined, meaning – should Sandy being asking what her father would do in these business transactions? Would he take a loan from A or B?
Sandy slowly manipulates her way with bankers, as she seems to seduce loan after loan. She’s almost child-like as she enjoys the game. What’s not clear, right now, is if she deliberately planned to do this from the beginning or not. One gets the sense she manipulated her father’s Will. It might be worth considering the idea of Sandy looking at boats/jewelry/big houses and saying something subtle like one day she’ll find a way to own these.
Also, she asked Lora if she could use the same machine for another loan. Depending on how the story unfolds, she might be a bit more manipulative, saying she’ll need another loan too, but she’s not sure about collateral, and she’s actually gets Lora to suggest that she can use the same machine (vs. Sandy suggesting
