Building a new school that is cost effective accessible and safe. There are many things to think about when building a school for accessibility for the staff and the students. A ground level school with a open floor plan is a better decision for all. This way it will allow those children who may have a handicap to get around the school better. As well as some of the teachers that may have one as well. Now days we face all kinds of challenges in the world that we live in and with having a new school with better access we are giving everyone a better chance at a great education.

Energy Saving Tips- Use CFL light bulbs. Turn off the lights when are not needed. Having windows in the classroom will help with natural lighting. Heating and air conditioning is a big expense. Install programmable thermostat for each room. Keep the heating temperature set around 68-69 degrees. When using the air conditioning keep the temperature set around 77-78 degrees. Running a fan to circulate the air well help also. All bathrooms should have facets that are automatic to shut on and off with a sensor. Toilets should be set up also with the automatic sensors. Many of your older schools were not built that way. Therefore some students could not attend school it they were injured or had to be in a wheel chair. In that case the student had to be taught at home, which is not fair for that student who would have liked the interaction with the other students. The parking lot will be set up with certain amount of handicap parking spots. The school gym and auditorium should have certain amount of spaces for wheel chair sitting to be able to see plays, concerts, basket ball games, etc. No child should be left
