Loving and being loved adds a feeling of purpose to our lives. Humans accept love from anyone and anything they can receive it from, it’s just human nature. In the literary work of “The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, the reader is introduced to two characters, Romeo and Juliet, who believe they share feelings of “true love” towards each other. In the balcony scene, the same night they met, Romeo tells Juliet of how beautiful she is to him. Romeo said, “O, speak again, bright angel, for thou art as glorious to this night, being o’er my head as is a winged messenger of heaven” (2:2;25c- 28) . Romeo is so in love with Juliet’s looks, not with Juliet herself; he even compares her to an angel. Romeo and Juliet had a strong belief that they loved each other from the start, but it wasn’t love, it was
