Within the essay written by Bill Daly called “Marine Parks” the writer is trying to provide information to his readers about marine parks. Daly takes the stands and conclusion on that the parks should be closed or at the very least they shouldn’t capture anymore animals. In the essay he discusses that the information that they take from the dolphins isn’t credible information. Due to the fact they are only studying captive animals not the one in the wild. He goes on to tell about how they have different diets and in captivity and that they have lower life spans. Along with all of this people say that foreign tourist come to Australia for the marine park. Due to the fact they believe that it’s the only place they can see those type of marine life. Daly’s claim is that we don’t need places like these to attract foreign tourist when we have the natural environment already for them to see. Natural environments has the mammals in it dolphin’s and whale’s along the coast, for them to see in their own natural habitat without them being in a concrete pools of water. However, what Daly forgot to add the increase of education for many people besides foreigners that the Marine Park provides. Some people don’t have the opportunity to go natural environment. Due to the fact they either they can’t afford it or they don’t live near somewhere that has those types of animals. According to the NAPA (National Australian Population Association) nearly 45% of people either can’t afford to drive to a natural environment that contains these animals. Along with many people live with in the rural areas of Australia, which can also lead to them not being about to see those types of
