Recommended: Analysis journal film Titanic

Titanic is a fictionalised incident from the sinking of the RMS Titanic. The inspiration behind the movie was Cameron`s fascination with shipwrecks. He thought a love story interspersed with such a disaster would be important for the emotional message of the sinking.

In 1996 a treasure hunter named Brock Lovett and his team searched the wreck for the neckless the heart of the ocean. They discovered a safe containing a sketch of a beautiful young lady wearing the neckless they were looking for. The drawing was dated April 14. 1912.
Rose Dawson supposedly the woman in the drawing was brought aboard, and tells the heart warming, yet heart breaking story behind Titanic.

After dinner Jack secretly takes Rose to a party in third class. Knowing about cal and her mother`s disapproval she tries to push Jack away, but she realises she likes Jack more than cal. At the request of Rose, she take Jack to her room. Jack draws Rose posing, wearing nothing but cal`s engagement present, the heart of the ocean. while one the forward deck the ship collide with an iceberg. Jack and Rose tries to tell cal about the collision, but when he slips the neckless into Jacks pocket, he gets arrested and accused of theft. Cal hides the neckless is his jacket. Her mother has a boarded one of the lifeboats, and Cal and Jack encourage Rose to do the same claiming he can get himself and Jack off safely. She don’t believe him and jumps back on board. Cal starts chasing Rose and Jack into the first class dining salon with a gun. The dining salon is flooding with water. Cal runs out of ammunition and realises that he gave his coat containing the neckless to Rose. He later enters a lifeboat after having exploited a little child sitting by itself. Passengers are falling down as the stern raises up from the water. The ship brakes in half, and the stern gets lifted into the air. They lie on top of the ship following it down in to the deep, while Jack assures her that she`ll die an old woman. In the water Rose gets saved by a life boat nearby while Jack dies from hypothermia. Rose hides from Cal while a small ship takes the survivors to new york city, where Rose starts a new life given herself the name Rose
