Everybody has something that they are really really good at and that they practice a lot.
My Island so Competence are playing video games and fishing. My Island of Competence is playing Lego video games and the strategies I use in playing video games that can help me in school are staying focused and being more patient. I enjoy video games because I get to control something and do what I want to do. I also enjoy Lego video games because I get to build multiple structures, and it gives me an outlet to do that. Also, I focus on the video game really intently because I'm being entertained. Playing video games gives me something simple to do which occupies my mind. Playing video games is my Island of Competence,because I am excellent at them and they are entertaining, and they can help me in school by helping me concentrate and to be patient with learning.What makes me acrylic fishing is that I know what I am doing and I know when to do it and I know what bait to use and I know where to go fishing.
