The world consists of so many different types of religions, and every religion has its own objectives, their own path, and their own different beliefs. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are the three most prominent religions in the western civilization. From their origins to life rituals, they have a great amount of similarities and differences between these three prominent religions.
The origin of Judaism initiated around 1812 BC and it is one of the world’s oldest monotheistic religions. This religion commenced through the Patriarch and Matriarch of the belief, Abraham and Sarah. Together they gave birth to a baby boy named Isaac. Jewish people believed that Isaac is one of their ancestors. Later Abraham had another son named Ismael with another woman, and he was known to be an ancestor of Islam.
The origin of Christianity was from Jesus Christ, they believe that he was the Son of God and he rose from the dead. His disciples spread Christianity through out the entire Roman Empire in 30 CE. The Roman Emperor Constantinople issued the famous Edict of Milan, and he declared Christianity to be a legal religion. Christianity was not yet the official religion until 380 under Emperor Theodosius. Christianity is a religion built on the life and words of Jesus of Nazareth also known as Jesus Christ. Christianity emerged from Judaism. It is founded on teachings, life, and death of Jesus Christ, and those who follow Jesus Christ are called "Christians. Christians believe that there is only one God, who they call father. Christians recognize Jesus as the Son of God who was sent to save mankind from being sinful. Christians believe in justification by faith, that through believing in Jesus, and in his death and resurrection, Christians can h...

All three of these religions share the same fundamental qualities. The reason why these religions stand out is because they have believers all around the world, and they have also persuaded over billions of people around the world. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are monotheistic religions, and one major similarity that these three religions share is the faith in one God only, they believe that there is only one divine God; who is the creator of the entire universe. Also all three of these religions have a holy book, the Christians have the Bible, Muslims have the Quran, and the Jewish people have the Torah; these holy books do not contain the same teachings but they are sacramental to each religion. Every person is expected to read his or hers religion holy book and understand its sacramental meaning.
