Like George Shaw once said “There is only one religion, though there are hundreds of versions of it”. Because the United States is a free community, most people do not see eye to eye. Religion in the United states is growing to be one of the most argued topics in the country. Religion is not supported by all Americans. The pubic have agreed to band religion on campuses. Why can’t America allow freedom of speak without criticizing each other? Will my future children be taught Gods not real? Why is religion frowned about, but evolution is okay to be taught in public schools? Even though most people frown upon religion, I would like to argue on my beliefs. From speaking with community members I have heard all of the same response. Why can’t my children by able to speak freely and express christianity aloud. Nelson states in a personal interview “Religion is a key part of my life.”. With that being said she states that she is unconvertible with speaking about religion any where but church. It is the year of 2017, the community should not be scared to state their love for God. People become scared to bring up the topic in class. “Religion in schools will prepares the students for real life and the real world. Students will be exposed to religion outside off school.” (Jaconsen, 2012, p.1). From reading this article Jacobsen agrees much with my views. Religion is strict in not only in the community, but in schools in general. Preparing students for the real world is an essential. Religion is everywhere. If you keep children feeling scared about religion it will make them afraid to state what they stand for and also
