The self assessment test was eye opening. It addressed skills that I needed to improve on,it also addressed skills that I do well at. I have neglected some of the skills listed, the assessment gave me a sense of a “need to improve” attitude. This Journey is not going to be easy,but my expectations is nothing short of improving it. Now that I know where I stand in my weaknesses and strength I can start the journey.

My Weaknesses are speaking, time management which includes procrastination, retaining written information, the lack of self esteem & confidence, my energy level that is often low due to the lack of exercise and diet. Bethel University. (2014) pg.2,3

I feel that my Strengths are reading, listening, curiosity, determination,

I would compare improving my writing skill to running on the treadmill. Working out is boring to me but it is something that needs to happen to staying healthy. I am the king of procrastination, I feel that if I can make the time and put in the effort, everything listed could be improved. I get bored with learning, I need to develop a fun environment by using the skills that I enjoy using to develop the weaker skills.
