In Jon Favreau’s movie Iron Man, the story starts off with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) riding in a military convoy with U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. While joking around with the soldiers, their vehicle suddenly gets attacked. Tony quickly runs out and hides behind a nearby boulder while the soldiers attempt to fight but are rapidly killed. All of a sudden Stark sees a missile fired which lands close to him. Before it detonates, he notices that the missile has the Stark Industries logo on it. In order to finance Tony’s secret project of the Mack II and Mack III, Pepper was able to assist him being his executive assistant along with Tony already being a billionaire and owning a company which builds military weapons. Since Tony is the CEO of Stark Industries and a genius, everything that happens within his company first goes through him. However, I believe that he should not have tried to run everything and keep his projects secret from everyone like he did throughout the movie. In the real world great ideas and inventions come from groups of people so that all the best ideas from each individual can be put into one great outcome.
