Life After Life What is it like we living another life after our death? How it feels leaving one life and entering another life? Life after life is a beautiful explanation of above questions written by Raymond A. Moody, Jr. He has both Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and M.D. from the Medical college of Georgia. He is presently practicing Psychiatry and doing further research, writing, and lecturing on the near-death experiences. “The book is about the investigation of phenomenon survival of bodily death. This question is asked by almost every human to themselves but none can explain it with all proofs. There are somehow people’s experiences who have been near death. The author says that it is very difficult to talk about death because this thinking can draw our own death closer and makes them more real and thinkable. However, the author has figured out something to compare death with. He compares death with dreamless sleep. Moody says, “Like the morning we wake up after a dreamless sleep, we are going to start a new life after our death.” He has made his experiences into three different categories. They are as; “ 1. The experience of person who were resuscitated after having been thought, adjudged, or pronounced clinically death by their doctors. 2. I really enjoyed reading the book. I never thought of life after death. The author has beautifully described people’s experiences on near death experiences which I first thought fake but many similar stories made me thought of it. I has surgery when I was 11 years old. I recalled that moment. The nurse gave me three injections for making me unconscious but seeing that I started to cry. But when the third injection began to work I started feeling like going to a hallway. It was like going upstairs, and feels like body floating. I don’t remember to where I go at that time and the surgery was over and I was amazed to hear that I was crying for the whole period of surgery. So while reading the book life after life, I figured out that my soul left the body for a while because my physical body was crying and my soul was in a hallway somewhere going upstairs. The book doesn’t exactly prove that we have life after death but it somehow connects peoples’ experience with our ancient saying of famous people and
