In my head I think I have gone over tons of different degrees and career ideas and none of them seemed to really jump out at me. That was until I found Psychology it was very interesting to me and I found that I could be passionate about it. A Psychologist is a professional who studies behaviors and mental issues in order to help them cope with life. A Psychologist tries and diagnoses people who people might call crazy and in other words are unable to cope with day to day life. There are many types of Psychologist and one of them is someone who studies criminals and their behavior to get a better idea of how or why they committed a crime. They are very similar to Psychologist but they also have a few key differences that not many people know. If you have not taken a psychology class or had some kind of interaction with either of the two then I’m sure you would be confused. I am one of those people who like to question why someone thinks or does something and what they are thinking when they do it. When I think of stuff like that it just makes me get really excited. If someone wants to practice psychology you need a doctorate degree to practice but do not need to go to medical school. I think that there are many differences in each career and you must always ask yourself what is right for you. You must also take into consideration that school is a big part of this career path and you must dedicate your self to studying even when not in school anymore. It 's kind of like a professor in that regard you must also read medical journals and scholastic magazines in order to keep current on procedures and in teaching
