Introduction
The definition of globalization is various from diverse disciplines. In fact, it is not only representing the exchange of economy, but also encompassing integration and promotion of other dimensions, such as policy and technology. This implies that it is still a controversy to unify the concept of globalization. Furthermore, whether globalization is benefiting widespread for the world or not is remaining under debate. In order to research the impact of globalization, analysis and evaluation will be completed from diverse perspectives and countries. Based on the background of global situation, following parts attempt to introduce positive and negative effects adhered to globalization. Some researchers stated that globalization
Centered on the current situation, stance that supports the progress of globalization will be analyzed generally from economy and employment. Due to limited scope of this essay, it will not cover all the standpoints associated with the globalization. Overall, this paper will be divided into three sections. Section one presents a brief introduction of globalization, which meanwhile includes global structures in the process of globalization. Section two and three contain examples of both the positive and negative influences of globalization. 1. Development of globalization.
Globalization is not an extraordinary subject nowadays. In truth, it plays a noteworthy role in encouraging social development and technological advancement. However, the appearance of globalization was not contingent. In contrast, it is the cumulative consequence of the progress in economy and technology especially after 1949. In 1948, the establishment of GATT facilitated international business and enhances capital flow, which generated an advantageous characteristic for globalization (Makhlouf, 2014).
