I. The Revolution of Our Reality

Most of us believe that we have a good sense of our surroundings. However, this belief is changing. Augmented reality, one of the most hostile technologies, is penetrating our lives. We were familiar with our surroundings, but not anymore.

“Pokemon Go”, the latest AR app for smart phones published by Nintendo, has established a new dimension on our existing world. It is the latest product of the Pokemon family, a franchise containing card collection, games, TV shows, and toys where players train and fight side by side with their cute magical animals (called “Pokemon”). Now, the Pokemon have come “across” the virtual and into our reality. Yet, you’ll never know how many Pokemon are there in your house. (The augmented-reality on our phone)

When I walk across the park, I often see passer-by’s stop and pull out their smartphone, which is the key that connects us with Pokemon. GPS directs the location and the camera displays the real world with a pokemon superimposed. Millions of people across the globe are engaged in this revolutionary game every day.

II. The Profit of “Pokemon Go”
