A distinct echo of a woman’s voice speaking casually within the room that I was approaching. I opened the door and walked into applauses as the woman finished talking. Glancing around, I quickly grabbed the closest available seat in the back row. She continued on sharing her published work, poems that she had written and what inspired her into writing them. She is a writer in poetry and a person who appreciated arts, whose name I can’t recall. Her poems were so good and written so well, which made it hard to believe that she’ll ever feel uncertain about her published work. Sharing her poems and inspirations, she displayed images of gorgeous and elegant kimonos on the overhead. Telling stories of her inspired kimono artist and sharing ideas to help students invent ideas in writing. She stated, “Writing is like pieces of different meanings joined together to create a strong meaning.” Her statement was inspired by four kimonos that was display at an art gallery in New York. Although the kimonos inspired her writings, her motivations and determinations were inspired by the kimono artist. She said that simple things like looking out the window, can help generate ideas to start off with. She also said that not everything has to be true, as long as it can effect a reader’s thoughts into believing it. That’s how she comes up with things to write about. Her work is more focused on painting images with words. She writes poetry based on her surroundings and her experiences in her life. All of her work are generated from simple everyday life events and turned into how she wanted it to be. Being creative and thinking critically on what reader’s want to hear, she improvised most of her work and add on little pieces to make it sound better. She is not only a strong writer but a creative one as
