I believe in that to be a success in life I have to have experiences in my life story to improve myself, abilities and skills. This will add a lot to my social, and managerial experience too. My work experience started at the Amazon Palace International Restaurant as an Executive Manager. That was the fascinating experience I have consolidated my skills of taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant, analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability, organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes. Moreover, I was preparing reports weekly and monthly, including staff control food control and sales. My duties were unlimited to creating and executing plans for department sales, profit, and staff development, setting budgets and/or agreeing on them with senior management. Further, planning and coordinating menus. All that time I was supported by my support team.
It also ideally matches my skill sets and I feel that this is the job I have been waiting for. Below are some highlights from my career that I think will showcase my strengths
Why do I want to be an area officer? While these words are not exactly the same as previous essay prompts I have been given, they all share the same idea; “Why do I want to be a leader”? Looking back at my old responses they are all focused on similar concepts; I wanted to be a leader because of the friendships, traveling and meeting new people, building better leadership skills, learning how to better communicate with people, and acquiring life skills, such as patience, teamwork, organization, and dedication. While all of these things have some importance, they should never be the reason someone wants to be a leader. When I wrote these I thinking about how to better myself, rather than how to help others. I was thinking selfishly. At the time I didn’t know what it truly meant to be a leader, to be willing to sacrifice myself for others. Even while I am still young and have much to learn, I finally understand why I want to be a leader and what a true leader should look like. I would like the opportunity to serve as a 2014-2015 Area Officer, so that I can better serve the FFA, my fellow members, and ultimately my world.

This, combined with my drive, infectious optimism and commitment to playing a full role within the school beyond those duties set out, make me a strong candidate for the post.
What experiences have you had which prepare you for this position (e.g perhaps as an employee, leader, or working with people different from yourself, etc)?

Finding the right person to do my interview was difficult. I wanted to interview someone who are passionate in their field. The person that I found was Lawrence Cariaga. He is a dear friend of mind and motivated me to never give up on my dreams and keep shooting for what you believe in. He is a passionate in his work duty and tries his best to help those are in need.

He cleared his throat and waited for the next line of questioning to begin. “Well James, here at Ruckus Advertisementing we are looking for someone energetic and dynamic, someone who will go anywhere to make the deal, someone who is tireless and unflagging, someone eager to climb the ladder. How well do you think you fit that role?” Coldness settled on James’ heart as these words bounced around in his brain.
When reflecting on my leadership styles, strengths and weaknesses I am rushed with thoughts, memories, regrets and actions of personal ways that I have handled past situations in the work place and ways that I plan to handle new situations at my new work place. I have had many successes with the way I handle my leadership role but there are also things that I wish that I could go back in time and change. The way some situations are handled, I think to myself, well this could have been done differently or I could have done this instead of what I did to enhance the outcome of the situation. There is always room for improvement in whatever job or task someone takes on and this is just one of those things. During the development of my PLAP, I have had the chance to weigh out my strengths and weaknesses of my leadership and it has been very effective to seeing where improving needs to be met. The plan has also let me evaluate the direction I hope to head in to achieve my leadership goals.
After hours of pondering, I've picked some traits about myself that I believe make me a good candidate for being a Staff. My leadership skills, my organisation skills and my maturity. I've had lots of experience with being in a position of leadership. I would say that I am a natural born leader, and I love to be in charge. I babysit for friends and family whenever needed, and was a kindergarten helper back in elementary school.

Different cultures place varying values on loyalty to the employer. In some countries, most notably in Asia, there is a high degree of loyalty to one company. However, in most European countries and the United States, loyalty at ones employer is not highly values; instead it is considered more rational and reasonable for an employee to change jobs whenever it is warranted to achieve the optimal overall career. Both of these positions have advantages and disadvantages.
