PETA is arguably the largest animals’ rights organization in the world with more than 5 million members and supporters. They go further to say they are against the use of animals in food, clothing, research, and entertainment industries and claim to spread their message through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns. This is all according to their website of course; however, a deeper look reveals another meaning filled with hypocrisy, deceit, terror, and greed. PETA portrays itself as the messiah of animals however, they share more of a resemblance with a villain right out of a horror movie. They lure animals in with promises they will not kill them in their sleep. You would think an organization that supports the ethical treatment of animals would keep them alive however, you would be very wrong because annually PETA euthanizes 90% of the animals they pick up. And these are not sick or non- rehabilitatable animals these are perfectly healthy kittens, puppies, bunnies and other cute animals who made their way to a PETA shelter hoping to find a new home only to be euthanized within 24 hours. On paper this may sound good however humans are supposed to eat meat. We are carnivorous animals, are jaws even come with canine teeth. Human beings still exist because we eat meat. Our bodies became stronger, faster, and our brain grew and developed and were able to adapt, form communities, religion, and war. This would not be possible if humans did not eat meat. I recommend a balanced diet. However, a world without animal testing is one without vaccines, or medical treatment, or deodorant. Now ask yourself is that a world you are ready to live
