One amazing quote in the second amendment of the U.S constitution states that, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”[1] Not only does the U.S constitution protect citizens ' rights to bare arms, but the Ohio constitution states in article 1 section 4 that: “The people have the right to bare arms for their defense and security.”[2] In this research paper I will argue why firearms should be kept legal for everyone in the U.S. Guns should be kept legal because they have become a foundation of the modern world in all militaries and the citizens, considering that someone hears news about guns every day. Firearms need to be kept as legal since they have helped people save themselves and many other people every day. Even though crimes are being committed, would make guns illegal solve problems? No. People will find ways to acquire what they want no matter what if they are determined enough causing more corruption, making it will be unsafe for responsible users of guns because they only use their guns for self-defense. If you have friends that know you have a gun with you, they will not care, but someone who will try to do something with you by force may be afraid so it doesn’t you or your friends’ only enemies and criminals. People say that guns cause a lot of danger for everyone around them, now what if someone with a gun seen someone point one in a crowd of individuals on the street? Do you shoot the immoral gun pointer? Of course. A criminal, someone who deserves, it should be punished for his shameful acts than the innocent bystanders who happen to get caught in the fire. One shouldn 't be a victim in the matter, but rather have the ability to stand their ground if a confrontation
