My mom was a hard worker when I was a child. She worked Monday-Friday from 6am-6pm at a nursing home and on Sundays she worked for a church. Even though she was always at work we still didn’t have a lot of money. We didn’t have a lot of money to afford a lot of things such as a babysitter. Age really shouldn’t determine a person's ability or maturity when it comes to this sort of thing. Some kids and younger teens really don't make good babysitters, but some make better babysitters than a lot of adults. It really depends on the individual and their maturity but I'm sure most parents would make sure that they know a person is responsible before hiring him/her to do the job.
