Persuasive Essay: Helping Kids To Do An After School

The principal is making the whole school to do an after school activity. What if the kids have other important things to do like having a ride home or too busy doing other things after school that isn't school related? I think this is strongly unfair to kids that don't have time for any after school activity or can't afford to do an after school activity. Kids have a myriad amount of reasons for not staying after school. These are some reasons why I strongly disagree with forcing kids to do an after school activities.

One reasons I disagree with forcing kids to do after school activities is because of home work. Home work can cause a lot of problems like stress. Stress can cause many things like leading you into not eat dinner or sleep. Second reason for too much home work is the ability to not stay after school. Staying after school can cause the kid to have a low grade on its project and their studies and distract them in to a poor grade in class. The final reason for home work is caused by low family quality time. Home work is more important than an after school activity, but they need enough time to spend time with family as well and if they had to go to an after school activity then they'll have to do home work on the time they don't have school and that time is to send with family not school work. …show more content…

School has rules and if some drama is caused then they might end up being kicked out of that club with no were else to go to. The second reason this can cause trouble is that school can expelled the kid for a certain amount of time and if that happens they can be kicked out of the club as well with losing a lot of trust. The third reason of letting the kid to stay after school is that it could be caused by something that they did at home. If they did something wrong over the weekend they can tell the teacher to tell the kid to go home right after
