Picture this, you are driving down the road and you put your turn sign on. You begin to turn the car and then all of a sudden ou airbags blow up while your head jerks towards it and the glass from the windows shatter all over your car.You car spins and our tires skid across the road. You get out of your car and a teenager gets out, but not a normal teenager, drunk one. Drinking and driving is still a problem for teenagers. One reason that drinking and driving is still a problem for teenagers is that drinking and driving does not allow teenagers to fully learn responsibility. Another reason drinking and driving is still a problem is because when you drink and drive you are putting you life and others’ lives at risk. An example that proves my claim is that 40% of al 10th graders drink alcohol which does not show maturity and responsibility. Not being responsible is a risk when you drink and drive because when you don’t have any consequences to your wrong doings you keep doing it and think that it is okay to do. Over 300,000 incidents of drinking and driving occur a day but only about 3,200 drivers are srrested. That means that the other 296,800 drunk drivers didn’t caught and will most likely drink and drive again.
