Hospitality business is one of the fastest-emerging industries, whose great variety makes it very fascinating area of working. I have never thought about the significance and the prospects which this industry presents until the day I started to work as an assistant tourist manager three years ago. This was my first formal working experience in the tourism environment. As a person with passion for meeting new people and going to places, I knew it will really impact positively on me. As an assistant tourist manager I was required to help the tourist manager accommodate the visitors and organize sundry kinds of entertainment.
Interestingly, this job has given me opportunity to become familiar with the work of such people as hotel, club and event managers. I am really impressed deeply by their diligence to satisfy every need of their clients. I have recognized the responsibility of their profession and I have also understood how satisfied they are when the needs of their clients are fulfilled. I have participated in diverse business activities. Specifically, I was one of the students chosen to stage a play for the graduation gala night of my school. Though it was quite interesting and captivating, the most tedious task of the organization of the event was to make the participants present a superb presentation. Eventually, I was able to inspire them to function even beyond the level of ordinary performers to liking acting itself. This of course gladdened my heart as positive response was produced.
