The way I see things is that it takes one person to change another person’s day. Whether it’s by making them smile or telling them an inspirational story. It can be easy or it can be hard trying to accommodate one’s need for a different outgoing in a day. The Power of One is the ability to innovate another’s well being. What some people say and do can impact other people’s lives. It will help them accomplish things they couldn’t do in that one day. I can differentiate the ending of my day by going to sleep earlier or even studying for a challenging test. Sure I won’t like it but the outcome will be rewarding. In the novel The Power of One, the main character, Peekay, is a very complex character who through a perilous and difficult journey is able to achieve the power of one a concept that means through personal struggle a single person is able to change the world for the better. The novel is a summary of Peekay’s life through his early childhood to young adulthood and throughout these years Peekay developes a many traits and qualities that contribute to his gaining of the power of one and through the continuous development of these traits Peekay, in turn, achieves the power of one and becomes the best version of himself. While a number of things contribute to the achievement of the power of one, three traits that Peekay obviously demonstrates are
Power allows people to do anything they want. They can use it in different ways, they can tell people to obey them, they can use it to hurt someone they hate, and even rob. They can also use it in a positive way, they can help people and do a lot of good things with it.
As I look back on my life, I can see how a lot of certain events have shaped my life. Where it They helped me become more independent, have some of the greatest accomplishments, and understand the importance of living your own life.
Everyone has a special event that determines our life journey. This event can give us identity, happiness or even pain and sadness. The special event that changed my life was deciding to play basketball because basketball helped me find peace, happiness and gave me identity. When I was ten years old my grandfather succumbed to cancer. His death created hatred inside of me.
I am an undocumented student at UC Davis. When I am asked a simple question such as, "describe your personal experiences", I ask myself: Where do I begin?

A calm crisp breeze circled my body as I sat emerged in my thoughts, hopes, and memories. The rough bark on which I sat reminded me of the rough road many people have traveled, only to end with something no one in human form can contemplate.
Some people like to stay in control of their life and avoid any amount of extraordinary risk to protect their self-disclosure. Other people don’t shy away from challenges as they are confident that certain obstacles are nothing more than just another thing standing in their way from living life to the fullest extent. Through personal experience, I’ve realized that personal comfort is nothing more than a variety of fears that limit me from challenging myself.
Summer vacation, and school ends for about three months, and then you have as much fun as you can, then back to school… right? Well I had to go to summer school, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Everything was going fine, I had a job after summer school, and that was going fine as well. They say that summer is supposed to be fun and exciting, and it usually is for me and my family. However in July my father started coughing up blood. My father usually doesn’t make it his top priority to go to the doctors, so he waited about four weeks until he really didn’t feel good.

School (ugh) I have been through a lot of it and I still have more to go (ugh). I started school when I turned 2 almost 3 years old. My first year at school was at my church, the program was called “moms and tots” the year after we tried to do “moms and tots” and a preschool called “teddy bears” at the Central High school but doing both did not really work so we just stuck with “teddy bears” for a school year. Like a regular school year, starts in the fall ends in the spring. The year after I attended VPK for another school year at my elementary school called Chocachatti. I continued through Chocachatti till the very end.
Everyone has milestone days in his/her life that change the direction of his/her life for better or worse. Let me tell you one of my experiences that I will never forget from when I was 12 years old.
