“Paige! Come look at this!” I shouted from across the aquarium. We were at an aquarium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on vacation. I was standing on a pirate ship wheel while my whole family, Lexi, Lacey, my mom, and stepdad were looking at the shark cave. She came running over and said, “Wow, it's half of a pirate ship and the wheel looks huge!” The stirring wheel was polished and very shiny, it had some splits also. The figure looked like half of a pirate ship, the bow in the front, a seating area, then came the stirring wheel, the sides of the boat were white and blue, and a couple of rocks were on the sides. Suddenly, I thought… I can spin back on forth on the wheel! “Paige, should I spin back and forth on it?” I asked her. “Sure

“Unbelieveable, “ I hear myself say and am really stunned.” (Bambara 472) The prices of the previous two items stunned the children, but the sailboat really brought home the idea.
“As he spoke, the ship wobbled like a knuckleball. The Command Module shimmied from side to side, as the LEM gyrated in a circular motion. White crystals and metallic debris oozed from the side of the ship like ink from an octopus.
“Ahh no, but… I can read. Remember I told you I found this place? Well, the article mentioned that this place had a shrimp boat tied to a dock on the lake. I thought you might like to see what a shrimp boat looked like in real life. Besides, the site said that this very boat had once been tied up, I think that is what you call it, at a dock across the river from Folly Beach. I thought you would be interested, you know with what you read about Jack and all.” Carl explained.
There I stand on the Atlantic Ocean beach in Daytona, Florida. It’s 7:49 A.M, June 28, 2015. I feel my size ten feet sink into the frosty sand. With my board in my left arm, and sand covering my body, I seize my direction towards the blue ocean. As I halt at the base of the monumental ocean, I gaze in both directions, not a life in sight. I feel at peace, solitude, in my own meager world. As the crisp ocean mist wipes my sand replete face, I bounce into the ocean with my board under my body, cruising into the profound blue sea.
She told him that he would have to put wax in each crew’s ears and tie himself to the boat because there would be music along the way that would harm him. After learning this he got on his boat and left to go home. When he got to the music they all go t ready and made it out

Daytona Beach Florida is my ideal paradise. It is a vacation my mother and I attend every July to visit family members we only see once a year. Each year is a memorable experience, as I desire staying connected with family members near and far. I enjoy many aspects of this vacation trip such as the plane ride, the alluring scenery, and all of the activities.
for a moment, the narrator took her attention from the ship to the ship she was using.
The trip to Florida over Christmas break was unlike any other. Yes, most people would jump at the opportunity to go to Florida after a winter like we had up to that point. So, let me give you some background on why the trip. Back in July my mother in-law had an epileptic seizure that rendered her in a coma, she has not awoken from and the doctors are pushing to let her go. She has been moved 3 hours from my brother in-laws house to Georgia. Thanks to our lovely health care system, it was the only place available that could take care of her needs. Perfect timing kids are out of school and it is a good time to travel so you would think. I have been out of work
I laugh a little at how great the joke was, and I could tell that my quip struck a nerve in the captain because he turned around faster than a crow...
“We have got to ride that!” cheered Audrey above the screeching of metal. Her big blue eyes lit up with joy in the light of the street lamp. Olivia and I exchanged concerned expressions. No way were we going to ride The Dragster. I could see Audrey anxiously waited for an answer, her body moving up and down a little with her excitement.
With the city pass in my left hand, I walked on the side of my mother. Slowly forming a line of four, security checked our belongings very quickly as if they knew that none of us had any weapons. We walked through a vacant pathway to see a lady in a dark blue vest. We each gave her our city pass booklet so that she could tear out the card so we could visit the venue. Set free, we excitedly walked around the corner to see a huge area surrounded by people. At the top was a view of colorful lights and pictures of sea creatures as we entered the Georgia Aquarium. The air blew into my eyes as I walked beside my parents. The sound of waves and water flowed through my ears. We walked through the halls that led into rooms that had bright tanks full of fish that stared into our
Kristi and I were given the key to our room. OUR room. Thank god our parents had decided to get a third room just for us. Unfortunately, it was in a middle hallway, which meant no windows. But on a boat like this, who needed windows?? We got to the door, Level 3--Room 3053, and our bags were sitting neatly outside the doorway. One swipe of the card key in the door and we threw the bags in. Time to explore the rest of the surroundings.
“What did you find, Mommy? Is it food?” Emily came running down from the pier to see my finding.
