My Writing Journey Although many will argue that great writing will require time and practice, opponents claim that great writing is like a puzzle which means one can put the pieces together to create an astonishing puzzle. This was the case when I was a 10th grade. As a tyro, I didn’t know much about writing elements and styles. Fortunately, one of my English teachers, Mrs. Roberson, change my outlook on writing. She taught me countless techniques. From that point, I started reading books to increase my knowledge and vocabulary. This was an incredibly wondrous experience for me. My veracity is another element that brightened and enlivened my writing style. In my narrative writing, I used many rhetorical devices to create a credible tone, so my audience can understand my story easily. The title of my narrative was "Urologist: Born to Make a Difference." The main objective of this narrative was to write about my personal goals and plans for the future. In addition, it emphasizes my interest in going to medical school while displaying my main aspirations and motives. I used innumerable examples and details to formulate my points. As a storyteller, my writing is chock-full of astonishments and delights. This particular narrative writing gave me the opportunity to express my future goals openly. As I have said, my analytical writing abilities enhanced and it enabled me to write riveting papers and essays. In the same way, my argumentative techniques became better and better. The main growth that I see in my argumentative writing is the well-developed reasons that I used in my papers and essays. My argumentative essay was to examine whether struggle leads to success or failure. the adversities that immigrants face when they moved to a new place. In that essay, I wrote an argumentative piece about a young man called Ali, who relocated to the United States. Ali faced many difficulties during his journey, but he didn't let those obstacles limit his potential. Although the essay was terrific overall. One thing that stood out to me about that essay was the fact that immigrants like Ali tend to achieve extraordinary results in short amount of time. This, in fact, was astonishing to me. Ultimately, my argumentative writing is fascinating and convincing.
